Minimum Requirements
To be considered for the Chief Administration Clerk position, applicants must have:
- A Grade 12 certificate (Matric) or equivalent qualification
- At least 3 years’ administrative experience
- Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Treasury Regulations, Public Service Act, and other relevant legislation
- Strong computer literacy (MS Office)
- Skills in document management, filing, planning, and problem-solving
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and work under pressure
Key Duties and Responsibilities
As a Chief Administration Clerk, your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and rendering general clerical support services
- Managing supply chain clerical functions within the component
- Overseeing personnel administration and HR support services
- Supervising financial administration functions
- Ensuring proper document management, records keeping, and filing systems
- Providing effective people management and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures
