Minimum Requirements
Education:
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate
Knowledge:
- Labour legislation and regulations, including ILO conventions
- Private Employment Agency regulations
- Public Service Act and Public Service Regulations
- Departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Batho Pele Principles
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Telephone etiquette and professional client interaction
- Interviewing skills
- Computer literacy
- Clear communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to interpret legislation

Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact at the help desk for Registration Services.
- Provide Employment Services to all clients visiting the Labour Centre.
- Resolve complaints related to labour legislation in accordance with policies and guidelines.
- Receive and process Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) applications.
- Handle Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act (COIDA) benefit claims.
- Process employer registration forms for COIDA.
